Welcome to noumansehgal.com. These terms govern your use of this portfolio website and establish the agreement for any freelance software development services provided by Muhammad Nouman Sehgal ("Freelancer", "I", "me").

1. Website Usage

By accessing noumansehgal.com, you agree to use the site legally and ethically. The content, including blog posts, code snippets, and portfolio showcases, is for informational purposes. You may not scrape, copy, or republish my personal content without explicit attribution.

2. Freelance Engagement

  • Scope of Work: All development services (Ionic, Angular, PHP) will be defined in a specific proposal or contract agreed upon via email or freelance platforms.
  • Communication: Official project communication will primarily take place via email or the agreed-upon freelance platform (e.g., Fiverr, Upwork).

3. Payments & Deliverables

  • Direct Hires: A 50% non-refundable deposit is generally required to schedule work, with the remaining balance due upon project completion/deployment.
  • Platform Hires: Projects managed via third-party platforms (Fiverr/Upwork) are subject to that platform's specific Escrow and Payment terms.

4. Intellectual Property & Portfolio Rights

  • Your Ownership: Upon full payment, you (the Client) own the final source code and deliverables for your specific project.
  • My Rights: I retain the right to reuse generic code libraries, utility functions, and architectural patterns in future projects.
  • Portfolio Display: I reserve the right to display the finished project (screenshots, links, or case studies) in my portfolio to showcase my work, unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed beforehand.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

While I adhere to high coding standards and best practices (Angular/Ionic latest versions), software is provided "as is." I do not guarantee that:

  • Your app will be approved by Apple/Google (store policies change daily).
  • The software will be error-free in perpetuity as browsers and operating systems update.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this website or freelance contracts shall be resolved in the courts of Lahore, Punjab.
